Over 100 council and housing association estates across London are under threat of demolition. Our research shows where they are.

Page High estate

Stage: Proposal

92 homes are earmarked for demolition on Haringey’s Page High estate in Wood Green.

The Page High estate comprises 92 family homes above council-owned Bury Road shopping centre and car park in Wood Green. The shopping centre and estate have been listed as a development site and designated for comprehensive redevelopment in the Council’s Local Plan site allocations DPD (site SA13) and Wood Green Area Action Plan.

In October 2018, Haringey’s Cabinet member for Regeneration said that the Council intends to remove the Page High estate in a revised version of the Area Action Plan to be consulted upon in early 2019. This revised version is yet to be published or consulted upon.

There is an active Tenants & Residents Association who took part in Open House 2019. The Open House website has more details about the estate.
